In an urgent humanitarian response to the catastrophic fires that swept through large areas of the Latakia countryside, causing severe environmental and living conditions damage that affected residents and local communities, Dr. Munir Khalifa, Syrian businessman and Chairman of the International Aviation Services Organization (IASO), announced the launch of an emergency humanitarian campaign under the title:
“Nafas – Your Right to Life”
This initiative is being carried out in cooperation with the International Organization for Human Rights and Refugee Affairs, with the aim of mobilizing humanitarian and logistical efforts to provide urgent support to those affected and help reduce the impact of the disaster on affected families.
Campaign Objectives
The “Nafas – Your Right to Life” campaign aims to provide a comprehensive and effective response to the crisis through:
Providing emergency relief and essential services to those affected by the fires.
Offering psychological and social support to families who have been displaced or lost their property.
Supporting field firefighting and rescue efforts through the coordination of logistical and medical resources.
Delivering humanitarian aid to the most affected areas, including water, food, medicine, and basic shelter materials.

In his official statement, Dr. Munir Khalifa emphasized that the launch of this campaign stems from a shared humanitarian responsibility and a commitment to responding immediately to disasters that threaten the lives and dignity of civilians.
